ST: Looks like a great vantage point from where to take pictures. With the rain and all that, I never made the detour out to JFK during my travels to Long Island. During the week, I came in as far as Bethpage where I saw some aircraft departing JFK. Next year I am definitely planning a stop in the neighborhood of JFK(Rockaways, etc) to do some spotting and photographing. Where was this specific location?

All cool shots...I especially like #3 in the first series...looks like the Iberia A340 is about to clip them branches!

public street, you can shoot with a 85mm or 100mm, and it is away from business so no one complaints as these were taken on a residential block. And the Port Authority Police do not have any gdo in this area, just nypd.
