I just took a long distance shot from the walkway bridge.

Haa,,,was taken with a canon 55-250mm at 250mm.....from a walkway bridge over the river

I think I recognize the trains if by "walkway" you mean Poughkeepsie. I have to go up there for some foliage photos. Those are great colors. Nice shot.

Thanks, yes, this is the Poughkeepsie walkway....fyi, they are charging $5 to park now on the Poughkeepsie side, I thought I could park on the street, I took a 30 min walk, and I had a ticket for $50 on my windshield...A major rip off!! So this picture cost me $50..

Anyway, for anyone that goes there, go across the mid hudson bridge($1), free parking on Highland side, and much nicer also.....

Any other info you need of the area, send me a msg and I would be glad to help.

Thanks, it looks clearer on my computer than the forum, I have to figure how to upload with losing sharpness,,,,new to this.

Join Smugmug and upload your photos there. It's a really good way to store your photos. When you want to post a shot to Steve's, just open the photo on Smugmug in the size you want, right click copy, and then just post in in your post.
