A realy beauty there...love the snow that has laid on it. I need to get out and do some RR pictures (in addition to my aircraft images). Do you know any of the technical details of this locomotive--i.e. manufacturer, age, etc?

Interesting how the snow sticks in some places and not others... I would suspect
surface temperature variations...

Nice one, Torgny...!

Jehan,

Sorry, know almost nothing about locomotives. I'll work on it. There is something special with them all. To some people they may be objects to identify with; heavy loads to ....

Remember the black beauty from last year. Well, here is a closer facial, portrait of her

Snow still falling. Got to get one of those climate secure camera houses perhaps

Hey Togony, great image of the Black Beauty especially with the snow. It'sgetting me motivated to get back in my basement and work on my model RR.

Yep since hot freezes faster thats why I was told to fill the ice trays with hot water it may seem to heat the freezer but it will chill faster so therefore the air vents would chill faster causing the snow to actually freeze... an d around the windows as well for that room would be warm for the Engineer.. Great shots....

SSG,

Didn't know that. Laws of physics? Thanks for the explanation. Yes, water can act in unexpected ways

Yes, Frank,

For some reason I like "masculine" environments for the lack of better words. This is from an area where I go at least once a week. Everything is big out there. Houses, trucks, ships; everything

You know, when everything else is very big you can makebelieve you are a child again. All the boys' dreams
