Default Jeepster

A 1948 Willys Jeepster. An ideal beach cruiser, attention-getter for our town. My dad owned a '48 Willys Jeep station wagon that he bought brand new when I was a kid.

We had a '48 Willy's Station Wagan when I was a kid as well... My father bought it
used from a dealer in Seattle in '62...

On the back tailgate, stencled in white letters, it said, "Beep Beep - Willy's Jeep"...

That Jeepster looks perfect and you rendered it well...

...hi Walter, The license fixture seems to say Grand Pr.... performance (maybe Harry's in Grand Prairie, TX), was this a Trader's Village show. I always wanted a Jeepster and/or a VW Thing while we lived in Huntington Beach @ the beach.

Bob, I lived in Grand Prairie at the time and visited Trader's Village many times. However, this was taken in nearby Arlington, near Texas Stadium, where the Good Guys show was held annually. BTW, my daughter owned a VW Thing while in high school here in Huntington Beach. Indeed it was a great beach vehicle.
