The Yamaha two stroke twin...some (including me) think that these motorcycles were perhaps the best 2 strokers ever made.

I had a mid 60's Yamaha YDS3 Catalina Super Sport...250 twin, twin carbs 28.6 hp....the Grandaddy of your beautiful 350 and 400 twin.

Pictures are great and the bikes look like they're in showroom condition.

I have a 78 Yamaha SR 500...bought new, by me in '78.

Nice, super clean RDs. I used to have a root beer brown 250. Can't remember what year it was but it was a great beer store bike. I don't remember the 350s. I still think they where the best looking bikes ever.

very clean for bike of that age. Are the restored, or just very very nicely kept over the years.

The best time I ever had on two wheels was tooling around the backroads of NM on a Yamaha 250 Enduro.

Man... Now I want that bike back...

Thanks guys,I sold the 350 June 2009 .I bought it mostly complete with 6k on it and had to get a gas tank ,have it,headlight bucket, fork ears painted. Also, honed cyls and new rings, carbs build, tires, seat cover, correct bars, alot of detailing. Was Alot of fun !

Here's a video when i had modded the carbs and J&R expansion chambers, went stock before i sold it.

Then ran across the all original 400,also had 6k on it. I honed and rings, carbs build,Dyna II ignition, tires, alot of detailing and paint touch up .Chrome, seat paint (less engine cases) were original.Sold in March this year for $4500 to a guy in LA ,hated to but having back troubles.

Spin on 400.

Nice Bultaco. Back in the 70's a friend used to race a Bultaco Pursang 250cc in American style flat tracking.

I took it for a couple of rides on farm back roads. One time the brakes had been disconnected....I still have memories....but no scars... of that particular ride.
