Default "Spirit of Goodyear"

Photographed these in Louisville, Kentucky during Derby weekend. Nikon D300s + Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 + Nikkor 1.7X T/C.


Flying over Louisville Airport.


Docked for the evening at Bowman Field in Louiville.

Nice change of pace. The blimps are always nice to see at events and they provide a nice birds eye view of the event.

The sad thing is they recently lost one in Germany form a fire that broke out onboard a flight.
