Nice shots gordy. I like the 1st best so far. Suggestions: get closer. Take a look at some of Walter's examples. You'll see what I mean.

Nice images. Additional suggestion: straighten the images...the buildings in the backgrounds are leaning to the right.

thanks for the feed back, getting closer and keeping car in frame requires different lens, or not? Im using my Panasonic FZ35 for this.

Straighten buildings, hmm Ill have to research that, beyond my capabilites and know how at this time, but Im gonna try.

Anything else boys? dont be shy. I went to this car show and took over 360 shots. Could have used more time and another camera, great fun!

Any available photo software will allow you to straighten/rotate images as you see fit. Programs such as Photoshop Elements have tools to align the horizontals and verticals...not difficult at all. For example, this took me less than 30 seconds using PS Elements.

Background is busy in the first 3 shots, a narrower DOF would put more emphasis on the car. Though I'm a rookie with a polarizing filter can't help but think one would cut the glare from the chrome. Obviously, changing your position could have helped.
