Default Flying Alongside???

These images looks like they was taken air-to-air flying alongside...but were actually taken from the rooftop of a 3 storied building. D300s.

Thanks ST and Maxsamsung. That Nikkor 70-200 mm, f2.8 VR is a reliable source of clear and sharp images. Check out these other two from the same location:http://www.airliners.net/photo/Kalit...731b51257e30e1

Thanks T...my fantasy is to do some actual air-to-air shots. The current hot and hazy weather locally is not suitable for aviation photography; therefore I've been spending my days indoors doing some post processing.

Great shots. I will be flying Sunday and hope to have some time to grab some shots myself although I won;t be able to get outside - would have to be from the terminal windows.

Thanks Dave. I'm flying this weekend as well (via Charlotte, NC) and will have some gear with me. I'll be limited to shots through the terminal glass myself, and if the windows of the aircraft are clean, perhaps some shots from the air. Do post some of yours when you can--I'll do the same! Safe travels.
