Default A10

I had an opportunity to attend the Cannon AFB open house recently. While it is home to the likes of the Predator, Reaper, AC130 and Osprey, a couple of A10 Warthawgs were brought in from Arkansas. Here is a shot of one of them.

Nice...I am envious that you were able to get up close to the Warthog!

Ha ha I like your spelling Warthawg These things JUST missed seeing action in Vietnam, since they flew early in 1972, but the reliable Spads filled in nicely, if a bit slower. Nice "shot".

Thanks for the comments everyone. It was a fun 1/2 day walking through the hangers and out on the flight line checking out all the planes.

Always liked the Warthog...although I'm not sure I would want that Gatling gun that close to me.

When I first saw the title...A10...I though you were referring to an old BSA by that ID.

But although initially mildly disappointed...I quickly got over it...Warthogs are just as good as an old BSA 650cc, A10 Golden Flash motorcycle in my view.
