Default A Rare CAVU day at DFW Airport

A couple of days ago we had the best visibilty I've seen in a long time. Ceiling and visibility unlimited at the highest level. The 747 at touchdown photo includes the antenna farm towers at Cedar Hill, TX. which is 25 miles away, line of sight.

Nice series Streets! Wow, you really got a clear view inside the American Eagle ERJ on that last one! Looks like you got a great spotting location there at DFW.

Those towers are all around 1,600 feet high. How would you like the job of changing the anti-collision lights? You can Google "Cedar Hill Antenna Farm" and also get the images.

Default View from a tower

Dallas is 20 miles away. I have difficulty imagining myself on that ladder.

Clear enough to tell he's holding his nose to clear his ears. Or is he picking his nose?

Nice shots.
