Good shots. Sorry I don't know the year, but looks well taken care of.

That's a rare automobile. It's a 1961 DeSoto the last year they were made.

It was a car line built by Chrysler and was positioned on the market between the Dodge and the Chrysler.

It was named after the Spanish explorer DeSoto.

A friend of mine's family, when I was growing up had a 1960 DeSoto. Good car...as you can see it really looks like a Chrysler with a different grille and some trim differences.

Thank you, Les,

for the elaboration on the subject. You, and probably everyone else will be very surprised if you follow these links

If a vehicle is vintage I like it. I am surprised how popular old American Detroit iron is over in Scandinavia.

As far as Eastern Euro and British vintage cars/ other vehicles I'm a big fan.

In fact my first three vehicles were Czechoslovakian. A Jawa 50cc Scooter and two CZ 125cc motorcycles.

And...I have a vintage British motorcycle....a '67 Matchless 750cc Scrambler...they were known as Desert Sleds and were designed for desert racing in the California/Nevada deserts back in the 60's.
