Default CSX 559 Locomotive

Was loitering around the railroad tracks again and caught this one in some nice later afternoon light.
D90 + Tamron 18-270mm VC.

Indeed a powerful locomotive. Very heavy set with all the cars. The groundwork for the rails must have been .....

The rails look fragile considering the weight. Like the compressed telephoto look on your latest train pictures

Thanks T! As much as I love airplanes, there is something about the rumble of a huge locomotive thar gives me a thrill as well. This set has 200+ cars behind it!

Great shot I love how you can see the two guys in the locomotive. AWESOME as always love your train and plane photos. Keep up the great work and posting them.
