Seen last Sunday at a local car show benefiting law enforcement.

Ahh, perhaps you haven't driven in So. Calif. freeway traffic. Being small and nimble trumps horsepower. Seriously, I had to wonder myself if the thing makes any sense as a CHP vehicle.

At first I thought it was used to patrol city centers for parking violations, etc...but it actually says "Highway Patrol". Isn't there a risk that it would be mistaken for a speed bump????

I see it has a 'push' bar in front...for taking out the bad guys vehicle, during high speed chases.

The old patrol car next it...looks like a 70's Dodge/Plymouth highway patrol....wonder if it has one of the high performance police interceptor 440 cube V8's of that era.

I can see this vehicle used by the parking enforcement officer or a small city cop. However, for use on the California Highway System, they got to be joking. I wonder if Governor Jerry Brown had something to do with this?
