Default Pinzgauer Off Road Group

I came across this unique to the US group of off roaders while exploring the back roads in Arizona.
1. Red Pinzgauer with utility trailer.

4. The most customized. I really liked the trailer tent setup.

Pinzgauer by Steyr of Austria, I think. The Canadian Army uses..or used huge Steyr trucks in their tank regiments. Fine machines.

I think I've seen a Pinzgauer once...very versatile machines.

I believe Car + Driver magazine did an article/ test on the Pinzgauer back in the '60's.

Great photo's...particularly # 4...like the low, upward angle you have....really shows off the machine well.

G'day mate

Not only a great series of images - also an insight into your "outback"
Particularly like #4 - great pic!

Downunder in OZ, we have many 4wd clubs doing similar touring - and the camper-trailer you show is the same idea as thousands I see as I tour around Oz. They are very popular as off-road items, usually travelling behind a land-cruiser or suchlike

Regards, Phil
