Default Japanese Bullet Train

Doing 165 MPH, this is one smooooooth ride. I rode this train during my recent travels in Japan from Nagoya to Kyoto.

Wonderful photo's. Riding in this high speed train must be a great treat for a train aficionado such as yourself. Streamlining of the front cab appears to be very slippery. I'm not sure how it connects....magnets ?

Thanks Les...yes indeed it was quite the thrill for me. The Japanese Bullet Train does not run on magnets; it uses conventional traction instead on wide gauage tracks. It is very quiet...don't even hear the clickety clack of the wheels. This train runs as fast it takes for a Boeing 737 to take off!
