Default Aussie cattle truck on the move

G'day all

I was enjoying an early morning cuppa on the roadside when this fella pulled up to check his load after exiting from the cattle station nearby. He had 72 beasts, each in the 250kg - 300kg range on board. Here he is standing on top of the rig checking the cattle below. ps- he advised me 'not' to stand too close unless I was in wet-weather gear &/or had access to a good shower !!!

This truck is a twin-trailer road train - 3 & 4-trailer trucks are common in the outback ... making the larger ones 72 to 80-wheelers & just over 50m [170feet] long

As always, comments welcome
Phil

Nice Western Star truck and trailers. Nice photo of this truck .

I know trucks can travel great distances in very hot, dusty conditions in Australia.

I would think it must be quite a job for the driver to water and feed all those cattle during the trip. Even doing tire check would be a huge job.

Transport trailer, truck drivers do not have an easy time .
