Default Diamond Lil pays a visit

This very early version of the B-24 is one of the last two of it's kind in flyable condition. She really shows her age. Photos were taken today at Meachum Field, Ft. Worth, TX.

G'day mate

You've done well with this lot - beaut & sharp & great pics

I presume that the aircraft is kept 'alive' via the efforts of enthusiasts ~ much as happens here in Oz. I know how much effort & $$ it all takes - and it's great to see the end result going overhead

I betcha the engine noise will stay with you long after modern jet plane noise !
