I think it's a late 40's Frazer, that I remember more as a Kaiser. A lot of the late 40's & early 50's cars were still on the road through the late 60's, even the early 70's in the US.

A high school parking lot in '67 would be just filled with 49's and 50's in rural areas.

Kaiser. OK. He mentioned 37 or 47 - must've been 1947 model. Yes, the US gained immensly from the war (WW2)

The first selfie I've ever done. There'll be no more. "SELFIE" - what a terrible word - the uggliest word export ever from the US/UK (beside the Pres's "hopey and changey")

27 centigrades up here. Suppose you have a more "humane" temperature (whatever that is, especially in the extreme weather context)

Agreed mate ~ it's extremely sad that the world is overwhelmed by ugly americanisms that are destroying the 'universal' English language ... my bugbare is the word gotten that is misused so widely within books & films.
