Now that's a great image, bordering to significant. Wonderful, Bynx

Thanks Torgny. That gentleman was dressed perfectly for the situation and his car.

if I were to frame it I would matte off juuuust slightly the right side

can't really explain it but the cropping seems to 'snap' my eye to the gent who is just as much as important as the beautiful auto

(shot deleted after edit)

The problem I see bernabeau is that you have cropped off the end of the bumper. The car and the man are complementing each other and are of almost equal importance with the edge going to the car. Therefore when I shot it they were placed in such a way that the lake behind them balanced out the edges.

Hey nothing is written in stone and its nice to talk about it. Then we both get something out of it. Its better than just posting a pic, then one or two people say nice and thats the end.

I pay MUCH attention to my cropping and I do like the balanced image here; it is what I would keep. Actually if I were to shift anything about this photo it would then be 50% the left side of the gentleman which would give the image a 'forward' look.

Normally I would use a bit more sharpening (if it were just the car) but the overall look here lets the softer look work very well.

..........and these are my thoughts toward it, as Calicajun said, "Love the class of this shot."

A very classy shot Bynx, I think your version is very well balanced. Print one up and give it to that dapper Gentleman
