I was in Fes recently and our guide kept saying again and again that the only other place in the world with the same architecture as Fes was Jerusalem. I really didn't fully appreciate that till I saw your shots! I will post a picture later to show you!

Yes, I see the similarities. Thanks for looking, and thanks for posting. What were you shooting with? I love the blue sky.

Heheh not the best shot, me totally ignoring the 2/3 law. I was utterly fed up at this point for various reasons....

Shot with a Canon A520

Although I love the architecture of the old cities, my eyes just keep turning to the number of satellite dishes in your photo, mark. Reminds me of one of my all-time favorite photos from National Geographic, an African dressed in traditional tribal warrior's garb talking on a cell phone.

Terrific pictures throughout this thread.

lookin at the images ,I feel as if I am walking through it .Each picture tells me about the place and people.Even books fail in description. It must be very hard on you to sort 2000 pictures and select only few pictures to hold us one.Nice effort..Well done:|

Ah, thanks for this. Every shot brings back good memories. I have many that are exactly the same but with my special person in them.
