This is one tough shot. There are so many obstacles in front of this ball. The only way I could take this photo was by putting the camera above my head. Viewfinder became useless, even angle view finder isn't long enough for me to see the composition (my DSLR doesn't have free rotation LCD so that's out of question too). Took a lot of hit and miss to get this one.

The Chinese castle.....because of the cleaning crews, this is the only place I could take photo of this architecture.

I think you quite managed to convey us the atmosphere of this celebrationthrough thesevivid imageswith attractive colours! Your narration, also, nicely accompany your shots. Consequently, this has been a pretty good set to go into Travel photos, IMO. Thanks for sharing and for your trouble!
