A few shots from my trip down in 2005. Did all these with my trusty ol' Nikon Coolpix 4300, a great little compact camera despite its 4mp sensor!

My friend and travel buddy Ben waiting for a bus in Los Sitios, just outside San Jose. Probably my favorite shot from the trip.

greats shots! I did an eco tourism trip to costa rica a few years ago and thought it was worth every penny. Did you go to any volcanoes, wateralls, or butterfly gardens while you were there? I'll try and scan some pictures to share with you

when i first went down, in 2001, i was working on an environmental exchange program. I went to Volcan Poas that time.

This time, in '05, we went to Volcan Irazu, which was really cool as well. I think i liked Poas better, though!

Hey Vandertramps, I posted some of my Costa Rica trip in a new thread. I went to that Poas volcanoe also. Just wondering, for your environmental exchange, did you go to a place called the Durika Community?
