This is the Welsh National memorial to Prince Albert, consort Queen Victoria, he died in 1861 and this statue was unveiled in 1865.

Alex, your name has cometo remind me B&W photography : )Very neat,properly exposed and masterly converted

I thinka secondpicture of the statue itselfover the pedestal would make a great set along with the first one :idea:
