I went to Huntington beach a few weeks ago and snapped this shot right at sunset, the orange glow of the pier supports is what caught my eye. I sharpened the pier in photoshop, increased saturation a little, and adjusted levels. Let me know what you think and what you think would improve this picture. As I am still a beginner with photoshop and would like to get better, any tips are greatly appreciated.

Very appealing photo. I would consider increasing the saturation a bit more (although I am very moody when it comes to this, and some days I prefer more subtlety than others) and I also adjusted the shadows/highlights the bring out the sky a bit more. Of course this is all "season to taste" stuff.

Thanks for the input! I like what your shadow/highlights adjustment did to the sky!
