We've traveled extensively in western Canada and like it a lot. The problem in the Rockies can be the weather. Even in the mid-summer, the weather can be very changeable and unpredictable. We were fortunate in that we had perfect weather throughout the 9 days we were there.

Our trip was essentially intended to be sightseeing. We heard that on a prior tour, similar to ours, it rained every day with poor visibility. That could really be a bummer for people who invested a lot of time and money hoping to see the things we did.

Glad to hear you like Western Canada. I've lived in Western Canada all my life, both in Alberta and Manitoba.
