Shot these on our last night in Paris The night started out fine till it started raining We had one last site to shoot but by the time we got there it was raining so hard it was a no go. My luck the rain was blowing right into our faces. The hood for my lens didn't even help. I tried wiping down my lens but it made it worse We must go back to Paris to get this one last shot :G BTW The shot would of been the Pont Alexander III with the Eiffel Tower behind it. My wife took this shot back in 2001 with her Minolta film SLR. I wanted to capture the same shot in digital :-) Next time :-)

Thanks for looking!
Chris

Way too cool

Your capturesbring the song Sous le Ciel de Paris to the observer's mind! Oh, who doesn't know it??Listening to it once again -to my surprise- even broughttearsto my eyes remindingtwo very happy years of my childhood thereabouts...Ah, images likesongs are expected to lessen a pain but often prove to act contararily...But a few glasses of red wine might do, having clicked on the links below :-)

Very nice shots indeed. A study in angles. I've been there and you show quite special views.
