Bear in mind that I carried two cameras for this trip, the D300 for this image which was shot in JPEG that hardly made a dent, and the A900 which is a 25Mpixels camera mainly for landscape ate up most of the netbook hard drive because it was recorded in RAW:

I guess for a once in a life time trip two cameras and 150GB laptop wasn't/isn't a bag idea. When I travel I just carry all my cards which is 30GB of memory. I do also have a 60GB wolverine device I can use as well. I have never traveled with my laptop as I am afraid it would get stolen........ 17GB is the most I have ever taken on a trip...... 15GB at each of two family wedding/reunion events in the past year, but then again I was shooting jpegs with my Sony A200.
