I never bothered to read the trash can sign. In Canada the sign reads "Take only pictures, Leave only footprints". I wonder why they dont want any footprints left behind. I guess everyone walks around with a broom sweeping up after themselves.

This was captured in the parking lot leading up to the Taj Mahal...

-> They have some kind of zoning law (or revenue stream from tourists) in that no motor cars are allowed, and only electric carts, or animal draw carriages are allowed to pass to the entrance.

Also once inside one either has to take-off the shoes or wear some disposable white cloth around the shoes (footprints may be).

BTW... Security was pretty tight too - The camera bag was given a thorough seach and my GPS was removed because it has a cable attached to the camera

Its about trash and Litter they want you to take your trash back with you it started as a slogan for the Forests Parks of America if you pack it in you take it back with you.. unless one can depose of it some how other wise.. Preserve the forests as God made them and to harm no animals... nothing like seeing a fish swimming around with those plastic rings embedded around their bodies or even a deer with a pop can on the tip as they found it out in the woods and had gotten it slipped on when it was not watching...... Poor critters whom have no hands to help themselves...Great Picture by the way of how it is rough looking the seats that is...
