Taken in August during our week in Edinburgh
We were stuck in one spot its impossible to get the atmosphere, the whole place was just bouncing to the sound of the pipes bands. I really enjoyed it. The Arena ![]() The Castle ![]() Two RAF Tornado's did a low pass to start the show ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This was the best i could get him, the lone piper high on the battlements at the end of the show I had the ISO up as high as i could, he's just too dimly lit for hand held

Nice shots I love the bag pipes the thing is that every time I hear them they make me start to cry for some reason... the same goes when I sing.. I can only say it must be the Irish in me Blood under all the English and other mixture as well...

Thanks for the comments, we were sat next to two American ladies who
ended up in floods of tears when they did 'Amazing Grace'. Although i must admit it did make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck..
