This is mostly a Napolitean origined fishermen community. It's an important harbour that feed the fish needs of Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina, although most of the fish is exported. Photography opportunities are endless. Rich, saturated colors, forms, people, activity, etc.

Fishermen get up early in the morning, 3-4am I guess. About midday they are back and dock the ships carefully and in order. Next day everything begins again. Rude life.

Most ship names are from Catholic or personal (wives, lovers, heroes...) origins.

Ordo!

I Like your style of journalisme / photography very much. It gives a clear insight at people and the life on the other side of the globe for me. Also, picturing an athmosphere I know so well from close-by fishing-ports here in Norway, it's interesting to compare the most common denominators of natical behaviour, boats, equipment and technical gear.

# 1 - I specially like the perspective of the lobster (or crayfish)-pots in the forground and a general view of the harbour.

# 2 = all the colors, with orange and green being the dominating ones.

# 3 = A powerful shot of the boats, where every inch of picture-surface is filled with information. Nice tonality and action, where "Alba II" is coming alongside "The Blue Prince". All wooden boats, I can see.

# 4 = very nice composition.

# 5 = powerful 'portrait' of one of these fishingboats.

# 6 = My favorite! 'Alba II' alonside 'The Blue Prince' is bustling with life and interesting caracters. Interesting to see is 'The Blue Prince' is floating very high as she has probably unloaden all its contents (emty hole) wheras 'Alba II' very much has not! She is floating way down her waterline, suggesting she has a big catch onboard.

Thank you for sharing, Ordo!
