Ive been to Nice many times many years ago. Its nice to see it hasnt changed much. Each shot is very familiar to me. The only shop I miss seeing is the Festival de Glace. I went to the Casino once with 3 friends and we wont $10,000 which we divided up equally. Then we went for a great supper and ended up at the Festival de Glace. That was a good tip about getting up into the mountains. Also a trip to see the Chagal museum is a must.

Thanks donp! Was such a relaxing vacation! Food was amazing! We didn't get a chance to check out the mountains on the other side of the bay. We'll have to go back!

Did you by any chance, go up into the mountains across the bay? There are some really good restaurants up there (along with some rich folks houses) and the view of Nice from there is breathtaking at night! We really enjoyed Nice and you've got some great shots. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Hards80! The light was changing so fast! I only had time to click a hand full before it got too dark. I wanted to get more of the blue sky but it was gone before we could even decide where to go next.

Thanks Bynx! WOW! You guys hit it BIG! The casino was dead! Only 2 tables had players. The other tables had the employees sitting around and chatting. Beautiful casino! Too bad they wouldn't allow photos. We definitely have to go back. These day tours don't allow enough time to see much.

You also cost me to rethink my lba, now instead of getting a sigma 50-150 2.8 for my canon. I am not shifting gear and getting a panny 20mm 1.7 for the olympus epl-1. Want a light weight package for the short 3 day weekend trip.

But I will have couple of the great chocolate filled croissant for you
