Default FLy fishing

Fly fishing on the Madison river below Ennis, Montana. This has to be one of the best sections of the Madison I have had the pleasure of fishing. In this photo is a buddy of mine from work and our guide, Vince. What a character he was. If you go, check and see who he is guiding for and ask for him. He will put you on the fish and keep you entertained all day.

I've got to try this sometime...I'll keep this location in mind.

Very nice picture...it tells a nice story all by itself!

Beautiful picture. I used to fly fish (wet flys) when I was a younger man...trout...but also Northern Pike, Yellow Perch (they love those little imitation, Water Boatman insects), Walleye....

That picture captures the enjoyment of being out on a stream, river..I used to primarily fly fish lakes....

Thank you for providing the pix..takes me back.

Les

BTW...looks like a nice Brownie to me (Brown Trout)....believe they were brought over from Scotland and Germany and introduced to North America.....many, many years ago...they took...real well....

That was a great day on the river. Catch and release section only but wow, we caught a boat load of fish and had a great time.
