The tower shot was much later, when it was finally really dark. But if you look at the long exposure. It is very close. Here is the grand Arch with the T1i with the 28mm 1.8

Light trails are gorgeous ST..especially #2 in the second set!

Paris is only a 7 hour flight form JFK
