Default 9/2010 - Monza/Venice/Rome (longer trip)

ok, so i was in Monza for f1 last September and also was able to visit Rome and previously Venice. All this but more of a power 1 day visit.

I'll be going back again but w/a friend and plan to spend some 2 days at each place. Little longer than before but atleast i can take better pics of these places.

My gear similar to my last trip (in no order) are: Canon 40d, 50mm, canon 28-135 f3.x - f5.x IS kit lense, Tamron 28-75 f2.8 (non IS) and Sigma 70-200 f2.8 (non IS) along with the laptop and cables/batteries. Is that over kill, as I will TRY to fit all this into my tamrack camera backpack.

I might be temped to leave 1 of the lenses, but not sure which NOT to bring...any ideas!?

I would leave the 28-135, you have it cover with the tamron and sigma lenses. The 50 is small and will give you a small compact evening lens.
