Default Summer Palace Beijing

A classic view of the Summer Palace outside Beijing.



The bridge you can see in the first pick, up middle left of the photo.

Very interesting perspectives, Ordo.

That first photo really has an amazing depth to it. Shame the air seems quite hazy, though (is that the infamous Beijing pollution - returned or worse post Olympics, I guess?)

The colours of the roof and the dotted boats in the bay / harbour are really eye catching.

The bridge (2nd photo) is also a lovely bit of interesting architecture. Cheers

Thanks. In 2 months traveling China, different cities, touristic places, I've seen the sun and the stars a couple of times. Never in Beijing.
We went a tuff time in that lake. A windy storm suddenly raised dangerous waves while sailing on a small boat. Once we were safe i shot some picks. I like this one in spite of the missed horizon:
