Default Coole!

These are quite surreal - and very interesting!

I like them a lot. You have you'r own style, and that's good.

I like # 3 + 4 + 5 with # 5 being my favorite. Even though the white clouds are a bit "blown". (I have had 3 Panasonics and I have learned to always underexpose at least 1/3 EV) It looks like a miniature-village, or 'diorama'. I like the almost medival setting.

Cool! I'd like to see more of this!

N.B.: The baguette - was it chambon, mayonnaise & tomate ou fromage du jour...? Just kidding! Probably cold omelette avec chambon fumé...?

Nice shots. Interesting and picturesque area. Some nice nighttime HDR could be had there Im sure. Whats the story of the diver? Is it in memory of the guy who had to go in and clean the moat?

Hi Walter,
Thank you for your kind comments and the tip on uderexposure. Next time im in town will look for some more angles.

Hi Bynx, Thank you, The story of the diver well I never really knew but have done a bit of research. Espallion is the Home town of Benoît Rouquayrol and Auguste Denayrouze, inventors of diving suits. They have a diving museum and a old diving bell in the main street. When the flood gates are opened the diver figure can be submerged.
About 5 years ago there was a bad flood and the water level rose up to the top of the arches on the bridge, flooding the medieval houses.
The Château dates from 1572
Its very picturesque here I need to get out more.
Next year i'm hoping to get a slr and will try them long exposures, the bridges and chateaus are illuminated at night and look Fab.
Thanks Chums for the replies.
Mark
