It was just great timing, lots of people were there too.
The only other option was to wait for midnight and jump the barricades (lots of photographers have done this)

Stunning pics! I don't remember seeing Eiffel Tower so brightly lit at night. Your photo should be turned into a post card.

Now, that's a strong picture (the last one) Immediately noticed the shadow with people: to the left. To me a "minor classic". Bridge with people transformed into a shadow ship

Beautiful shots, Love the 2nd one. FF camera just do so much better with detail capture.
