Some nice ones here...the elephant, the panda and the leopard (or jaguar) resting on the tree and the rhino are especially colorful and sharp! I've never had too much luck taking good photos at zoos...I guess mostly it seems I visit at the time the animals are mostly sheltered in caves or in the shade!

My zoo viewing rules of thumb were developed in a temperate climate. Don't know if they work in the tropics. Anyway, best times for viewing were: First hour after zoo opens, last hour before it closes (assuming a daytime closing time), and the morning after end of a multi day cold snap or rain storm.

Very nice shots, shoturtle. I've shot with this combo and find the 45-200mm to be a better match to the EPL1 than to the G1.
