I think if you have been to the Eiffel tower you can appreciate these pics even more. Great stuff rp. By the way what are those 3 things coming down from the first tier to the ground. They werent there whenever I was there.

![]() Those structures are there because the tower is under some work on first floor. They are building a new fancy restaurant and some new leisure areas

We were in Paris a month ago and it was diappointing to see those ugly "rods" sticking in the middle of the lower half of the tower. Looks like the structure is getting a colonoscopy. Never made it over to walk underneath, but I would imagine those new devices might make it a little hard to get something like this I captured back in 2006 during our first visit.
