Hey Mike! Being from the "flatlands" of Florida, the area around Sturgis was a wonderment to me, and my wife. We saw a buffalo, and really, that was the only wildlife we saw. Part of the time, it was too hot for anything except humans, and then it got cold, and snowed in spearfish. We got rained on a couple of times where there was no place to sit and drink coffee...bummer.

All in all, it was a trip to remember. We're already planning next year.

I checked, and from your house to Deadwood is 1340 miles.
From my house to Deadwood is 1650 miles. One way, so multiply that by two.

Anyway, there is too much to see in one trip. But there's always next year, God willing...

Thank you, JJ. It was a very good trip, just didn't last long enough, and I didn't take enough pictures.

Oh boy, I could have too, but I had the wife with me, and she kept me moving.
