Great pics Robert, it looks like you two had a great time and got to check out lots of great places and entertaining people.
I've never been to SD but I would like too someday. Especially after seeing your pics.
What was camera kit?
It's nice to see your great looking wife make those presidents look ugly.
She's very photogenic.

Hey Mike. My wife says thanks for the compliments! We were so rushed all the time I didn't get as many shots of people as I wanted, and man, there were opportunities everywhere. As to my camera, space was limited on the trike, so I basically carried my trusty A300 and the do-all Tamron 28-300 zoom. it worked out pretty good, because most of the time it was bright and sunny, so I was able to use a smaller f stop, and still have a decent shutter speed.

I calculated the distance from Lomita to Deadwood at 1340 miles. you could make it in two days. it took me three days going and three days coming back. Long drive...
