Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed gettin to some of these places.

This pic was taken on my hike (50 km in the blazin sun!!!! with 50kg rucksacks). I have just woken up, and at the moment my camp is inbetween two cliffs. So this is morning sunshine

This one I took at the Sharqiya sands. Its again a morning sillouhette. Took about 3 hours of sand driving to get here.

This is Wadi Arbeiyein. Again 5 hours of off-road

Enroute to the wadi, this is an abandoned old watchout tower.

This is a pic at Cairo. A man on his camel, taken at the Sakara Pyramid(one of the first ever)

This is the Quriyat region of Oman.

Again the Quriyat region

Nizwa fort at Nizwa Town

"Lighting the way"

Shawarma man..which is the best thing in fast food dining.

Nizwa Town's souk(market)

oh well the camera that i used...rEALLY sucks. i mean REALLY.

Oh well, theres my pics from this side of the world...some of them were quite brutal drives but hey worth it

Thank you for the glimpses into another part of the world

Especially intriguing to me is the waterfall and large wadi in the middle of a desert.

Dunno why, but the camel rider reminds of Lawrence of Arabia. Probably too much late night TV.

Lovely photos,...

This is taken at Jebel Akhdar, which literally means green mountain. Uh this was at about 2500m, and we drove up here by car

Not too shabby for a camera that has no manual features

WOW! I thought you took some great photos. Of course, I'm an amateur, but your camera doesnt' seem too crappy to me.

Thanks for the pictures. I especially liked the one of the Wadi. I sure would like to jump into that lake!
