The FZ10's 12x zoom was used extensively to get closer & to frame the subjects. I also used the burst mode to select the best of 2 or 5 shots of wildlife and people.

Welcome, ltdedorc, to the forum

You have some simply outstanding photos!!!

Especially beautiful me are the photos of Denali, the Alsek range and your sunsets near the end of your gallery.

You should be very proud and print them BIG and put them on a wall.

digcamfan,

Thx for our kind words. Yes, I will be making professional light jet prints of some of them, including Mt McKinley, Alsek Range, Glacier Bay, Emerald Lake and, of course, a sunset, maybe a sunrise. I've made a 100+ 4 x 6 so I have a pretty good idea of what an enlargement to 11 x 14 or possibly up to 16 x 20 will look like. Here are more you may be interested in seeing:

I took over 2,000 pix and just completed my slide show to document & summarize our trip on CD. It has about 300 slides in it and sure took some time deciding which pix to put in...Harvey
