This topic may have been discussed to death, but I must say that using Picasa and the Hello IM that seems to come along with it, made sharing my vacation photos with family and friends nearly painless (for me, ? for them). My wife and I would venture out in the wilds of Banff or Victoria or Ketchikan during the day, and I would spend about 1 hour in the evening, downloading photos and blogging away. Our neighbors, family and friends were, essentially, receiving electronic postcards from us each day. Great fun and highly recommended.

For purposes of full disclosure, I must admit I have a Flickr Pro acct. which made storing the images a snap.

If you are interested in seeing the blog it's at: http://studiodelos.blogspot.com - Really, just vacation photos with minimal post-processing.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone else who has tried this while travelling.

Best regards to all.
