Correct Thread

Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I've bought a Sanyo HD1000 after many weeks of searching for the right camcorder for my budget. I'm trying to find out what the thread is on the bottom of the camera so that I can buy a tripod to suit. Does anyone own one of these camcorders and know what the thread size is?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I think you will find that the thread is the standard 1/4-20 thread used by all camera and tripod makers.

I ordered a Gorillapod and it is the standard thread.
