What grease to use?

I have a Manfrotto head (sorry, not handy, forgot the model :P) that has been completely torn apart and cleaned. The grease originally on the tripod was very sticky and caused it to jerk around pretty bad. I was wondering if someone could direct me to whatever's required to re-grease these.

This is directly from the instruction sheet that came with my Manfrotto tripod:

"The equipment does not require regular lubrication but if required, use standard lubricant oils or grease."

i use dry teflon spray. it goes on as a liquid but leaves the teflon once the liquid evaporates.
my spray is for sliding glass doors and garage doors. works super. just be sure you are using the right lube..
