Default anyon used the manfrotto 393 gimbal head?

jsut wondering if its any good for the likes of my sigma 150-500

dont need any special head for the lens because of its weight but tracking movinganimals or flying birds etc i want something easier than a ballhead

This is a replacement for the Manfrotto 3421 which is still available, don't know if there is a difference, they look the same in pictures. I just bought a 3421 after a strong recommendation from a professional wildlife photographer who uses it for his pro level Nikon with a huge 600 mm. lens. It is well suited for tracking birds. See the user reviews of the 3421 on Amazon.

Just noticed that my new Manfrotto head actually is a 393. It does appear identical to the 3421 model, which has user reviews on Amazon.
