Ball head rec. for D40x and monopod ?
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive ball head for a Nikon D40x and 70-300VR on a monopod ? Inexpensive for me would be < $100 .

Check Amazon for Manfrotto 234 or 234RC. The RC model has a quick release - I use a Manfrotto tripod so have the plate mounted on my camera and can change from monopod to tripod quickly.
