Default Photographing waves, surfers, water-skiing etc

Anybody here do it? I really want to get in the water next to the sportsmen and women with some sort of water-proof housing, a fast wide angle and some fins !! Would really really love to hear some advice / experiences etc.

This summer i spent some time in Myrtle Beach. I also took some photos. I would have to say that for fast shots some of the best advice would have to be: use high shutter speed, and take more then one photo at a time. Most cameras have a setting that allows you to take a lot of photos at one time. Very use-full for catching photos of surfers! Good luck!
