Hi,

I saw on a previous post from a few years ago that someone had used an MPK P5 housing for a Sony Cybershot DSC P7. I wanted to know if anyone else had been successful using such a housing for that specific model? The P7 and the specific housing for it have been discontinued by Sony but I have found some MPK P5s for very cheap onlinebut needed to make sure Im not wasting my money on a housing that wont work... If anyone has any experience or advice for the same housing or camera please let me know. I am heading to Cozumel in Januarytodo some diving and wanted to get some shots while I was there.

Thanks

Carolyn

Just looking at the reviews for the 2 cameras on this site I would think the chances of a P7 working in a P5 housing are slim. They are slightly different sizes and the shutter release button is in a completley different place.
